1. General and field of application

This privacy policy applies to the profile of Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag GmbH on Facebook and Instagram (hereinafter referred to as “fan page”).

The fan page is provided to us by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (hereinafter “Meta”) and we administrate it with a corresponding user account. The fan page gives us the opportunity to present ourselves to Facebook and Instagram users and to get in touch with them.

Insights are collected when the fan page is accessed. This is anonymized data that enables us to view statistical evaluations of the use of the fan page.

Personal data is also processed when these insights are collected. Meta and we are jointly responsible for this processing within the meaning of Art. 26 GDPR. The main content of the agreement concluded between Meta and us is explained below.

4. Level of responsibility

Meta assumes primary responsibility for the processing of the Insights on the fan page in view of the fact that there is a legal basis for their processing.

5. Possibility of objection

If you wish to object to the processing of your data by us on the fan page as a whole or for individual measures, you can do so by sending a personal message via the fan page. You can also object directly to the processing of Insights by Meta. You can also object to data processing by Meta by contacting us. Your objection will be forwarded to Meta immediately.

Please note that in the event of such an objection, the use of the fan page and the retrieval of the services and information offered via it will only be possible to a limited extent or not at all.

6. Details on data processing

6.1 Use of Insights

When the fan page is accessed and used, the Insights function (statistics on access to the fan page) is used and processed by us. It is not possible for us to identify you personally or assign you to your account. This function is a component of the user agreement with Meta that we cannot waive. This means that we cannot unilaterally decide whether the insights are collected or not.

This data is collected with the help of cookies. These are small pieces of data, usually consisting of letters and numbers, which are stored on a browser when you visit the fan page. Cookies do not contain any data that identifies you personally, but the information we store about you can be assigned to the data obtained from and stored in the cookies. Through the use of cookies, information about users who do not have a Facebook or Instagram account can also be stored.

To the extent that your personal data is processed by us when you visit the fan page, the permissibility of this processing for us is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag GmbH wants to evaluate the anonymized insights in order to understand the usage behavior on the fan page and to optimize the content.

In order to market its services in the best possible way, Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag GmbH needs a lot of fan page views. The Insights help them to do this.

The insights collected via the fan page are made available to it in anonymized form. This means that the personal data collected is changed in such a way that it can no longer be assigned to a natural person, or only with a disproportionate amount of time, cost and labor.

If you are registered with Facebook and / or Instagram, the provision of Insights is contractually required. Otherwise you cannot open an account. 6.2. Communication via the fan page functions

You can contact Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag GmbH via the fan page using direct messages, the Like function or comments. As part of this contact, the name that is stored in your account as your user name will be displayed.

The permissibility of this processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

Communication with users is important for Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag GmbH in order to answer questions, respond to criticism, build a relationship and exchange information. This is the only way Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag GmbH can improve its services and respond to the needs of its customers. Some of the insights are transmitted to Meta’s servers in the USA and stored there. Meta Platforms, Inc. has certified its participation in the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. Meta Ireland relies on the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the associated adequacy decision of the European Commission with regard to transfers of European data to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA. Otherwise, third country transfers by Meta are based on the EU standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission for these cases. 8. Rights of data subjects

When using the fan page, you have the right to assert all the rights described in this section against both Meta and us.

Within the framework of the agreement between us and Meta, we will forward your request to Meta without delay if Meta alone is required to comply with your data subject rights.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). We endeavor to process requests quickly.

If your personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object if there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR). If you object to direct advertising, Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag GmbH will no longer send you any advertising messages.

Any consent given to the processing of personal data can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. However, the legality of the processing up to the point of revocation remains unaffected.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time (Art. 77 GDPR).
